Boston Market Introduces Home Delivery in Boston
The convenience and great taste of "real meals" delivered to your door
Golden, CO - Tired of having the same old pizza or Chinese food delivered to your door? "No problem," says Boston Market Corporation. The company credited for introducing "home-meal replacement" announced today that beginning February 28, hungry customers in Boston can enjoy great-tasting, restaurant-quality Boston Market food delivered directly to their homes.
Customers in Boston are among the first in the nation to have the opportunity to take advantage of Boston Market's home delivery program. Delivery also is being introduced in Providence, Rhode Island on February 28. Beyond Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the concept is being tested in seven markets including Austin, Texas; Baltimore; Charlottesville, Va.; New Jersey; New York City; Toledo, Ohio; and Washington, D.C.
"Today's consumers are busy," said Joe Saporito, Boston Market's senior vice president of restaurant support. "They may not have the time or inclination to cook, but they still want to relax after a long day with a great meal - without the hassle of having to cook it themselves or go out and get it."
Delivery will be available during dinner hours (Monday through Friday, 4 p.m. to close, and Saturday and Sunday, 3 p.m. to close). The menu, which can be found on www.bostonmarket.com, includes Boston Market favorites such as rotisserie chicken, double-sauced meatloaf, homestyle mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, entree salads, soups, and desserts. Customers can choose from family meals, individual meals, and a la carte items.
"Ordering from Boston Market is every bit as easy as ordering pizza, except we offer more choice," said Saporito. "Plus, you can place your order with confidence, knowing you'll get the excellent quality and service you've come to expect from Boston Market."
Consumers who live within a 10-minute drive time or a five-mile radius of 24 Boston Market restaurants in Boston can call 1-800-241-0000 to place their delivery order. When a customer places a call to the toll-free number, a centralized system tells Boston Market whether or not the caller falls within the delivery zone.
"We want to provide a restaurant-quality experience for our delivery customers," Saporito added. "That's why we're limiting our delivery service area to a 10-minute drive-time and confining our delivery menu to those items that travel best. Our customers benefit because their food arrives at their door fresh and hot. It's a hassle-free experience they can count on after a long day."
