Boston Market's New Cordon Bleu Topped Chicken Takes Flight in Time for Spring
Boston Market Restaurants Update Classic Delicacy with Mouth-Watering Entree and Sandwich
- Available for a Limited Time Only -
Golden, CO - Boston Market Corporation, the fast-casual restaurant chain known for its
signature home-style rotisserie chicken, is putting a new spin on an old favorite. This
month, the restaurant chain transforms a traditional recipe - chicken cordon
bleu - into a modern-day mouth-watering delicacy by introducing its own baked
version of the dish.
Beginning April 7, Boston Market restaurants will add "cordon bleu
topped chicken" to their menus in both entree and sandwich form. Available
for a limited time only, both dishes will be available through May 18.
"Chicken cordon bleu is a dish with a history, its roots tracing back to the
prestigious culinary schools of late 19th century France," noted Bob
Karisny, vice president of research and development at Boston Market Corporation.
"Because Boston Market is committed to introducing new taste experiences for its
customers, we are updating this classic with a delicious, contemporary flair that
reflects the high-quality, home-style food for which we are famous. By making it
available in both entree and sandwich form, we are offering our customers and
their families more choices and enhancing their overall dining experience."
Boston Market's new cordon bleu topped chicken entree marries a moist
boneless, skinless chicken breast with a generous slice of ham and thick and creamy
Dijon cheese sauce, and tops the whole thing off with golden, crispy breadcrumbs. For
customers who prefer their meat between two slices of bread, the restaurant is also
introducing a cordon bleu topped chicken sandwich. The sandwich rests the same savory
entree on a golden brown toasted roll and garnishes it with fresh, crisp lettuce
and creamy Dijon mustard.
The cordon bleu topped chicken entree and sandwich can be ordered as part of
an individual meal complete with side dishes and cornbread, or in a family meal that
feeds from three to six people. As always, customers can choose from approximately 12
different side dishes, including macaroni and cheese, creamed spinach, garden fresh
coleslaw, steamed vegetable medley, hot cinnamon apples, garlic dill new potatoes and more.
The new cordon bleu topped chicken entree and sandwich individual meals are priced at $6.49.
