INGREDIENTS
2 11.5-oz. packages Boston Market Cinnamon Apples
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup light brown suger
1 box puff pastry sheets (found in the frozen pastry section, thaw and refrigerate before using)
Optional: sliced toasted almonds
INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll out the puff pastry dough so that it is approximately 10 ˝ inches in diameter. In a 10 ˝ inch non-stick sauté pan on medium heat, melt butter and stir in the brown sugar. When sugar and butter are blended, pour in the apples, evenly distributing them over the pan bottom. Place the puff pastry dough over the mound of apples, carefully tucking the edges down into the pan. Place the entire pan into the oven. When the dough is golden brown, approximately 25 minutes, carefully remove the pan. Turn the tarte out onto a plate, placing the plate over the top of the sauté pan, carefully flipping it. Top with chopped toasted almonds.
